Right! I have the following electronic drum components for sale:
7 x Simmons electronic drum pads from late eighties (red)
1 x Simmons electronic snare pad with real Remo drum head (red)
2 x Simmons kick drum pads from late eighties (red)
1 x Roland electronic kick drum with Mapex pedal
1 x Roland PM-16 trigger-to-MIDI interface
All items are working.
The Simmons snare / tom pads do show signs of wear but are still in good condition, especially for their age (thirty years plus).
One of the Simmons kick drums is fine but the other is missing the pedal mount bracket and has some slight cosmetic damage to the rubber. Both of these issues can be fixed or put right.
The Roland KD-7 and the Mapex pedal are like new.
The Roland PM-16 is over twenty years old and is in great condition. This will be supplied with an appropriate power supply.
All standard Simmons pads are £65.00 each.
Simmons snare with Remo head is £85.00
Simmons kick drum (good) is £100.00.
Simmons kick drum (damaged) is £80.00.
Roland KD-7 and Mapex pedal combo is £150.00 plus £12.80 sipping inc. insurance to UK mainland.
Roland PM-16 is £180.00 plus £12.80 sipping inc. insurance to UK mainland.
NOTE:No racking is for sale. The racking, all drum arms, cymbal mounting hardware and stand have been 'borrowed' from my own Simmons SDX kits and is used only to display the items that are for sale.
ALSO:The cymbals shown are available separately here.
This box sits between your tripod and your camera and allows you to use professional microphones on your rig. The Tascam DR60D Mk II takes a SD card and can record directly to that but it also passes the audio through to the 3.5mm stereo audio input on your camera.
With a stereo 3.5mm input as well as two XLR inputs, the Dr-60D Mk II can actually record four channels. There are controls to mix down to two channels to send to your camera. All four channels are recorded separately on the SD card.
With phantom power and gain controls on all channels, it’s such a handy bit of kit. Over the years, I’ve done a lot of video and since the early days, I’ve noticed how the quality of audio can easily render a really good video, absolutely useless. With a pair of really nice microphones, this box ensures that the audio component of your video will be as good as your video!
Designed specifically for guitar, the tc electronic G Major Mk II can be used in many situations, even as outboard. In fact, with classic tc electronic effects, it’s absolutely ideal to be connected in the auxiliaries of a live or recording set-up.
With balanced analogue inputs and outputs, this version also has S/P DIF digital inputs and outputs. The G Major 2 is exceedingly versatile. It even has a provision to switch channels on your amp! tc electronic also offer an editor program for Windows and Mac. Connect it up to your DAW via the MIDI sockets and off you go.
In great condition, these systems have seen very little use.
Three wireless belt-pack systems which I used on two guitars and bass. This pack would be ideal for any gigging band.
I built my own power supply for these things which is included in the sale (see last four pictures). It’s a 1U 19” rack and comprises three independent, ultra-linear 12 volt power supplies; much better quality than the Shure wall-warts (sorry, Shure)
All are on frequency range 854 - 865 MHz.
PRICE: £350.00 plus £15.00 p&p to UK mainland. Cost of shipping includes insurance.
I originally bought this to make recording bass easier but was really quite keen on the overdrive function. It’s so hard to get a proper overdrive on a bass rig. I didn’t want distortion, just some soft valve type clipping. This box gave me that and also satisfied my initial desire; to make recording bass easier.
I always re-amp bass as you never know what you want in the mix. The Sansamp VT Bass RM has a load of inputs and outputs on the back that allowed me to re-amp with ease.
Used in a recording environment, the VT Bass RM would also work perfectly in a live bass rig.
This example has been rack mounted and has sat on my desk for a couple of years so it’s in lovely condition.
I kind of acquired this a few years ago and wasn’t at all sure about it. It looks like it’s seen better times but is quite functional. In fact I used it on the back of a Marshall JCM900 Dual Reverb 4502 combo (which I’m also selling at the moment) and it sounded so good that I left it plugged in like that!
The cab is rated at 200 Watts RMS and has an impedance of 16Ω. The input panel on the rear has two 6.3 mm mono jack sockets which are wired in parallel allowing to to daisy chain but PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!! Make sure that the output impedance of your amp is set to match the impedance of the load (speaker cabs) that you're driving. Hope that makes sense but if it doesn't just ask me. 🙂
The condition is a little scruffy but it all works.
