This (magic) box converts video from tape to digital format. It connects to your computer via Firewire 400 and is bus-powered. It will not convert to 4k or anything fancy like that. It’s quite an old box so only supports standard resolution.
Although very old, it’s in great condition. Note that this is specified to work on Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.2. Not sure if it'll work on newer operating systems.

NOTE: This item is offered without a power supply. It'll work off IEEE 1394 bus power but if you want to run with a separate supply please use a 12V DC supply (centre-pin hot).
