I’m absolutely gutted to have to let this go but needs must.
This is a signature series Marshall 1959. Marshall worked hard to emulate the characteristics of Randy Rhoads’ famous amp. It has factory modifications as per his original head which delivers your awesome 1959 100W roar but also goes into that well-known Randy Rhoads overdriven sound.
The amp has been regularly serviced by me. Apart from other stuff, I’m a musical instruments service engineer and I just love valve amps. I maintain a spreadsheet and all of my amps have their valves changed regularly. I always buy my valves from my mate Derek at Watford Valves, who I’ve known for decades and he always gives me the best matched quads.
Unfortunately for me but potentially fortunate for you, I also have my beloved 1971 1959 Super Lead for sale at the moment as well as my 1980 JMP 2203 100W Master Volume. I also have a single Marshall 1960A (top slanted) cab and a Marshall stack comprising a 1960A and a 1960B cab for sale. The cabs are loaded with stock Celestion G12-T75 speakers. Crossed out items are now sold.
During the time that I’ve had the amps, they’ve never been gigged. I bought this 1959RR new but the others were purchased second-hand.
