The Behringer DEQ2496 is the third generation of UltraCurve. Unlike its predecessors, the DEQ2496 comes in a 1U rack. It’s a 2-channel device. It’s got digital as well as balanced inputs and supports external clocking. With its RTA input and in conjunction with the Behringer ECM8000 calibrated microphone, it’s a breeze setting up a really good sound in just about any environment.
Of course many will be aware that the DEQ2496 is much more than a 2-channel graphic equaliser. With dynamics processing, parametric equalisation and much more, the DEQ2496 is a simple looking beast packed with features.
These units are just brilliant and I have used them in so many situations. They’re great!
